Winter Show We started the week with rehearsals, recited our Butterfly and Bottle poems many times, practiced to stand in line, coordinate our movements and sing together. He usually stands in front of the Obama Room, but on Friday he decided to visit us in class and we had a lot of fun together. This week we, began our family unit. In both English and Hebrew, we discussed each member of our families. We also discussed how each family is unique and how we each can help our family and what a family is. We changed the Dramatic Play area. We now have a kitchen, a living room and a bed room. Hebrew: This week we played a memory game, family bingo, and drew our family members in a house. We also played family puzzles with number matching. We practiced the following vocabulary while playing the different games. Butterfly Bottle Moments of the Week: Song of the Week: Ani roked im ima. (I am dancing with mommy.) This week was a short week. Math: We continued to practice counting and quantifying up to 10. Teaching songs: We played the role of our teachers and led the class in songs. Poem: We practiced the following poem: Halachti leshuk. (I went to the market) Pagashti bakbuk. (I met a bottle) Natati lo shte neshikot vehibuk.( I gave him two kisses.and a hug.) Shte neshikot vehibuk. (Two kisses and a hug.)
