Ramat Ganians got back into their routines after Spring Break. Future Pollsters There are things we can't start early enough. At the beginning of the week Ms. Alexander taught the class about polling and every day she conducted polls about food during morning meetings. Ramat Ganians then evaluated the results by counting badges on the wall. From Wednesday we conducted polls in Hebrew and learned to say: Ani ohev (m) - I like... Ani lo ohev (m)- I do not like... Ani ohevet (f) - I like... Ani lo ohevet (f) - I do not like... Ramat Ganians are doing great in poll counting, by the end of the week they conducted their own polls. In small groups they left the class room with Ms. Alexander and polled other teachers about their favorite foods. Math Ms. Anna loves Israeli board games. This time she brought two new games for the class. Bears in Math is a great game for counting, learning colors in Hebrew and starting addition. After completing the bear counting cards, we used higher level cards to find out the results of 2+1 or 3+3 bears. Shapes and Colors is another amazing game. We practiced shapes, sizes (big and small) and colors in Hebrew. Also it is a great game to practice taking turns waiting and helping our peers. This week we also added prices to our restaurant menu. Practiced ordering food and drinks in Hebrew and then counted our dollars in Hebrew in order to know how much our meal costs. Moments of the week: On Friday we celebrated the birthdays of RJ, Amelia and Jai. They are now 4.
