Most of our animals who left Safari Ramat Gan on Orientation Day safely returned to our Zoo on Monday. Thank you everyone for taking care of our animal friends.
Our new citizens are doing great. Arriving on time for breakfast, eating and happily Cleaning Up before our Circle Time. Please keep this great habit at home as well. Here is our little secret, The Clean Up Song Circle time started with a Morning Message from Ms. Alexander and Ms. Anna every day. Then we learned to sit in a circle on the carpet, we learned each others' names, listened to great stories and danced to our music. We are happy to share with you Gan Ramat Gan's very own YouTube channel, where you can find different playlists. More information on our playlists and music is posted on the Our Music page. This week we danced a lot to the tune of the "1 Circle Time" playlist including the Hebrew songs, "Uga, Uga, Uga" , "Yadaim Lemalla" and "Bein Charim vebein slaim" We learned the following Hebrew words: Shalom (general greeting) Gamal - Camel Tzav - Turtle Lashevet - to sit down Lakum - to get up Beteavon - Good Appetite - Bon appetite. (we say this before lunch) Rosh - Head Ktephaim -Shoulders Ehad, Shtaim, Shalosh - One , Two, Three We practiced the Freeze Dance several times as it helps our coordination. After Circle Time we played games, puzzles, soft blocks, read books in the library or colored our animal friends. We listened to Classical Music during lunch and art work. The greatest achievement of the week was when we formed a train, circled in the classroom several times and then ventured out to discover our beautiful school. Our train even reached the orange tree on the other side of the building. We had a wonderful week in Gan Ramat Gan!
